about

i started making music and playing the guitar when i joined onyon around
3,5 years ago. last year, our bassist broke his foot and we couldn’t
rehearse. my head was full ideas and i didn’t know what to do with them.
at home, i have this free version of garage band on my computer so i
started to record the first guitar track. once i got this far, i was
hooked and couldnt stop. i really wanted to finish the track so i had to
teach myself how to play the other instruments one by one. that's how i
started to play bass, keyboard, synth and so on for all tracks until i
felt it sounded like a finished track. i had access to all these
instruments because my boyfriend has a lot of stuff at home. he's been
playing different instruments since he can remember. in the end, it took
me 3 month to finish this album. the process really drove me nuts at
times. the hardest part was to play the drums. i used the garage band
drum kit, as i have no idea how to play the drums at all. but in the end
i got it, it's actually quite simple, and turned out exactly how i
wanted it to be. i studied biology and work in nature conversation, so
most of the lyrics are about animals and nature with a touch of the
supernatural. topics also cover the destruction and exploitation of
nature and animals. and regarding my instrumental influences - bands
from spared flesh are definitely included. 🙂
